How to play

  1. 1

Open. Go to azulogame.com/daily-puzzle/ on a phone, tablet or computer. Today’s mural is waiting, in pieces.

  2. 2

Look. The small mural beside the wall shows the finished picture. Tap it to see it larger.

  3. 3

Place. Drag a tile from the tray onto the wall. Drop it on another tile to swap them. Nothing locks, so you can move any tile again.

  4. 4

Turn. Tap a tile to rotate it a quarter turn clockwise, on the tray or on the wall.

  5. 5

Restore. A tile in its right place, the right way up, glints. Fill the wall with every tile right to finish. Stuck once the wall is full? A clue can point out a tile that’s wrong.

  6. 6

Share. See your time, moves, clues and streak, then share your result. A new mural arrives at midnight, your local time.

There is no countdown. A clock counts your time from your first move and pauses while the tab is in the background. Your progress is saved in your browser, so you can close the tab and come back later. On a keyboard: arrows to move, Enter to turn, Space to pick up and put down, Delete to send a tile back to the tray.

Like Wordle, but visual

Azulo Daily keeps the rhythm of Wordle: one puzzle a day, the same for everyone, and a result to share with friends. What changes is what you solve: a painted picture, rebuilt tile by tile, instead of a word.

Questions

Is Azulo Daily like Wordle?
In rhythm, yes: one puzzle a day, the same for everyone, with a result you can share. The puzzle itself is a picture rather than a word: you rebuild a 45-tile azulejo mural instead of guessing letters.
How long does a puzzle take?
As long as you like. There is no time limit and no countdown. A clock counts your time, from your first move, and pauses while the tab is in the background, so you can compare times with a friend.
Do I need an account or an app?
No. Azulo Daily runs in your web browser on a phone, tablet or computer, with no sign-up and nothing to install. Your progress is saved in that browser.
What happens if I miss a day?
Every earlier puzzle keeps its own page and is listed in Past puzzles, so you can still play it. Your streak counts murals restored on their own day, so after a missed day it starts again from one.
What do I share?
A short line of text: the puzzle number and mural title, your time, moves and clues, and a link to that day’s puzzle. On a phone it opens the share sheet; elsewhere it is copied for you to paste.
Who makes Azulo Daily?
Electric Alpaca, a trading name of LIO SOFTWARE LTD, which also makes Azulo Monastery for iPhone, iPad and Android.
